Inclusive Skills Development to Children, Elderly and Disabled People.
- TIVO pursues to impart children with inclusive vision by
operating an inclusive day care centre where children of
different abilities will be cared inclusively. This
centre will impart inclusive ideals to children so that they
grow knowing the value of inclusivity
Also, TIVO pursues to make elderly people stay useful
to the community by enhancing their prior skills up todate. Among other ways, TIVO through stakeholders
plans to build a physiotherapy centre to provide
remedial exercises and rehabilitation to at least 20
elderly people daily for such purpose. Moreover, TIVO
aims to ensure elderly people are healthy in order to
keep providing their experience to young generation by
providing them with mosquito nets, bed sheets and
mattresses.
Furthermore, TIVO pursues to make sure every disabled
person is skillful enough to be equally engaged in the
community by training disabled people with business
skills, sports skills and leadership skills. Moreover,
TIVO aims to have a rehabilitation centre to
support both mental and physical health of disabled
people.
Health and HIV/AIDS services to Women, Children, Elderly and Disabled People.
- TIVO pursues to make sure that Health services and
Infrastructures are streamlined to provide quality health
services. This will be possible by organizing workshops to
health services providers with the aim of improving their
capacity to serving special groups such as children, elderly
and disabled people.
Moreover, TIVO pursues to make sure that women,
children, elderly and disabled people with HIV receive good
health services from health centers to enhance their
longevity. TIVO will keep cooperatng with Government and
other organizatons who support people living with HIV/AIDS
to collect and disseminate HIV/AIDS related informaton to
uplif inclusivity of people living with HIV/AIDS. Furthermore,
TIVO strives to make sure women, children, elderly and
disabled people with HIV/AIDS are skillful enough to carry on
with life.
Education.
- TIVO pursues to make sure pupils and students get quality
educaton as one of the tools for an inclusive life. TIVO
strives to improve the quality of curriculum and curriculum
implementers so that they provide quality educaton.
According to TIVO, quality educaton is that which improves
child’s critcal faculty.
Moreover, TIVO ensures schools’ infrastructures and
buildings are qualitatve enough to support quality learning
to pupils and students in Tanzania primary and secondary
schools.
Economic Empowerment to People with Disabilites and Women Entrepreneurs.
- TIVO pursues to supports poverty alleviaton
interventons by organizing periodic trainings
which will provide entrepreneurial skills to People
with disabilites and women. Moreover, TIVO
pursues to provide micro loans to people with
disabilites and young female entrepreneurs.
Advocacy for Women, Children, Elderly and Disabled People engagement in Natonal Priorities.
- TIVO
uses various means such as debates/dialogues,
mass media and social media to create awareness
on the role of special groups' engagement in natonal developmental priorities.
